The finale for our month long backpack drive for @yeg.newcomers, The forest green adult “MENTOR” and accompanying kids’ heather grey long sleeve shirts launch next week, at the “FUTURE CREATIVES” POP UP SHOP at @lilrascalzshop / @bambooballroom.yeg on Friday, Sept. 25th and Saturday, Sept. 26th. Featuring illustration work by @ayefreydo and additional design support by @raelandmendoza, the “FUTURE CREATIVES” shirts are offered in Adult sized forest green with white/yellow contrast graphics, as well as Kid sized heather grey with white/forest green contrast graphics. Based on @chrissycrooksraw’s son Kingsley, @ayefreydo’s illustration sees a Black child in meditation with complimentary iconography by @raelandmendoza symbolizing how positive & creative mentorship can give the next generation the necessary tools to express themselves, connect with their world, and ultimately fulfill their best potential. Adult “MENTOR” shirts are constructed of 10.1 oz. 100% cotton fabric, with the Kid “MEMBER” shirts comprised of lighterweight 5.5 oz. 100% cotton fabric. Both styles are sourced and printed in Edmonton. Final details include “MENTOR” script and collaborative branding on the left sleeve of the adult shirt.
Both styles will launch at the “FUTURE CREATIVES” POP UP SHOP at @lilrascalzshop / @bambooballroom.yeg on Friday, Sept. 25th and Saturday, Sept. 26th.
